Prescription Fat Burners - The Good, Bad and the Ugly
Posted under Appetite Suppressants | Miscellaneous | TipsCall them prescription fat burners, prescription weight loss drugs or prescription diet pills; they’re all the same thing. They tend to make you lose weight and you need a Doctor’s prescription to get them. The fact that a Doctor has to sign for them gives many people the impression that these things are powerful. However, don’t let that fool you. These little pills are not magical and many of them come with a whole lot of precautions.
Most of these pills are some sort of fat blocker. That is, they prevent your body from absorbing fat. So what happens if you eat fatty foods? Well, there a nasty little side-effect called anal seepage that is basically a nice way to say you will poo your pants uncontrollably. So don’t forget to have one of those pills in the morning before you go to work and have that bagel with cream cheese. Oh boy!
So how does this pill work then? Well, after a few instances of messing your drawers you either stop taking the pill or stop eating fatty foods. Essentially, if you take the pills for any length of time you will very likely lose weight, and that is probably due to you not eating the fatty foods in fear you’ll lose it. So the stats are correct for long time users.
There’s also the issue of cancerous diseases that some of these pills have caused in lab experiments and these types of pills haven’t been totally ruled out as a potential cause. Most of these pills are very new and thorough testing is still in the works on these drugs.
Can anyone see staying on pills like this for any length of time? I can’t. I’ll stick with the healthy eating weight loss methods. There are plenty of other great ways to go about losing weight. The FatLoss4Idiots diet is one of the best methods.
