Let’s face it, pop (aka soda) is loaded with calories. Of course, I’m referring to the non-diet kinds. I know they taste so very good, but are they really worth the extra effort to lose weight.
For those pop addicts out there (and you know who you are), pop can be a real enemy to your dieting efforts. Just one small can could have as much as 150+ calories. And how many of us stop at one can throughout the day? Not many! My family has been known to go through a case (24 cans) in a single day, and that’s only 4 of us!
We’ve made the switch in our family and we don’t regret it. Sure, diet pop took some time to get used to, but you know what, I’d actually prefer it nowadays. The taste kind of grows on you.
One of the biggest benefits is the fewer calories that you will consume. My family of four has lost an average of 20 pounds (each) in 1 year and just about all of it can be attributed to drinking diet vs. the sugar stuff.
Go ahead and give it a try. Who knows… you may even start to like it!
